Privacy

TabletopMCP is free to play and is planned to be supported by advertising. Today the site shows no ads. If we add them, ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads; they will load only after you agree where the law requires it, and this page will be updated first. Apart from that, we keep only what the service needs to work, plus optional analytics if you accept them.

When you start playing you become a guest. We store a random guest id, a hash of your guest key (never the key itself), the favorites you save, and the games you finish, including chat messages sent during those games.

A signed session token keeps you signed in on this browser. Your guest key is saved in this browser so you can come back to the same identity. If you lose the key and have not signed in, the identity cannot be recovered.

Seat links contain a private credential for one seat in one room. Anyone with a link can act as that seat until the room ends, so share them only with people or assistants you trust.

You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it removes your favorites and keys. Finished game records stay available as replays without any link to your account.

Analytics are optional and off by default. If you accept, we load Google Analytics, and on Chinese language pages also Baidu Tongji, to count visits and understand which games are played. They may set cookies in your browser. You can change your choice any time from Cookie settings in the footer. If you decline, no analytics scripts are loaded.

If you sign in with Google or GitHub we keep the account id and verified email they give us. If you sign up with an email and password we keep the address and a salted hash of the password, never the password itself; reset codes are sent by email through a mail provider and are not stored in plain form.

If you send feedback we keep the message, the page you were on, your language and, only if you give it, a contact. If you were signed in or playing as a guest, the message is linked to that identity so we can follow up.
